Eagle’s Echo Night Run – Half/10k/5k
Join Us At Echo Canyon State Park for our Annual 5th Night Run! Grab Some Friends and Enjoy a Night Jog through our Peaceful Valleys and Beautiful Canyons!

This event will offer a half marathon and 10k distances on paved road taking runners by the reservoir, through Echo Canyon, Rose Valley Canyon, and Eagle Valley. Starting and finishing both the half and the 10k at Echo Canyon State Park, out and back, with aid stations, and finish line food.

Online Registration will be open till END OF DAY Friday July 4th! Race Day Registration will be from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
No guarantee of race swag for registration after June 1st.
**Race Start at Main Restrooms/Boat Launch Area at Echo Canyon State Park just 13 miles out of Pioche Nv.
There will be no refunds for this race!
Dog friendly race! May bring dog to run with, must be on a leash at all time during event!

This run will be held at night so it will be recommended to wear headlamps and a reflexive vest or reflexive tape.
Course will start at Echo Canyon State Park main entrance and running east on Echo Dam Rd through Rose and Eagle Valley. This will be an out and back run/

Hola. What a breath of fresh air this event is! Can’t wait to return to the heartland of our Silver State for rural road running at its finest.. Are we able to start and finish on pavement and avoid that dirt road start/ finish from 2020? Will the 16 year old speedsters show respect to elders and start 5 minutes behind? (just kidding). Will the 70 and over age group for 10K be packed again? Kenyans?

Hey there Stephen, I’m so glad to see you signed up again, missed you last year. Yeah 2020 was an exception due to covid stuff. Last year is was moved back to the original start finish area within the park. This year will be the same, start finish at the boat launch restrooms at Echo Canyon State Park. I’m not if I’ll any speedsters back, my numbers are small so far. I’m really hoping for more sign ups but it’s hard to get people from Vegas up this way. Hopefully I can get more Utah and Ely folks. Spread the word down your way for me if you can haha. I’m adding a 5k this year and last year I added a 1 miler for kids. Anywho, I can’t wait to see you again and I’ll work hard on getting info out there to get more speedster for ya. Thank you so much again!!
Hi Crystal. Can’t wait to return for my third running of this fabulous event. The rest of the running world is missing out on this hidden gem. Perfect time to start a race in Nevada in the summer, and the course from a pure running perspective (terrain, traffic, road surface, temperature) are all outstanding. Oh world, if you only knew how great this one really is…..
Fabulous. fabulous, again for 2023. Perfect weather, great course, fun comraderie, superb organization, …too too bad no Cedar City Masters runners want to challenge those who travel twice as far and continue to WIN in their back yard….

How many runners for the 2024 half? My sister and I might travel from Chicago and Alaska to check off Nevada on our goal towards 50 states? We’re not fast but we always finish 🙂
Hello Lisa! Right now I have no one signed up. This race, I get a lot of last minute registrations. I usually draw locally and from Utah. We’d love to have you. This is a very peaceful half marathon in rural Nevada. You will see the stars (if there isn’t any cloud cover) and again just peaceful. Great area to explore during day before you run.
