Transfers from a RRA event to another RRA event is acceptable and welcomed.  If for some reason a entrant can’t make it to RRA event that they registered for, the amount paid at the time (less the processing fee) can be transferred only if notified 30 days prior to event.  Please see time line of transfer amount below:

  • Notifying RRA race director 30 days or more prior to event will get 100% (not including online processing fees) of their registered amount paid to transfer towards another RRA event and can be used within 12 months of the event registered for.  Example, entrant paid $40 entry fee + $3 processing fee = $43 for event on January 5th 2019.  If notified 30 days or more prior to Jan 5th, 2019, $40 will be available to transfer to another RRA event in one years time.  The processing fee will not be credited. If the next event entry fee is $80, using transferred credit of $40 will leave $40 owed plus any processing fees.
  • Notifying RRA race director 16-29 days prior to event will only get 50% (not including online processing fees) of their registered amount paid to transfer towards another RRA event and can be used within 12 months of the event registered for.  Example, entrant paid $40 entry fee + $3 processing fee = $43 for event on January 5th 2019.  If notified 16-29 days or more prior to Jan 5th, 2019, $20 will be available to transfer to another RRA event in one years time.  The processing fee will not be credited.  If the next event entry fee is $80, using transferred credit of $20 will leave $60 owed plus any processing fees.
  • Notifying RRA race director 0-15 days prior to event will not receive any transferred credit with 15 days of race.

If wanting to transfer credits from one race to another, be sure to email me at rockyroadadventures@yahoo.com, state which race you are registered for and which race you’d like to transfer to.  Please note your name and email for easy communication back and forth on the matter.

Cancellations

The safety of you, your crew, and our wonderful staff is the most important thing to RRA.  If a race must be cancelled or shortened due to Mother Nature or other uncontrollable circumstances, refunds will not be issued.  Unfortunately, the money has already been spent and we still have to pay for the event whether it happens or not.
