ROCKY ROAD RACE SERIES

FOR 2023, ALL RACES AND ALL DISTANCES WILL BE INCLUDED IN OUR SERIES POINTS.

2023 POINTED RACES:

1.  Little BIG Dog Trail Run – 4k & 14k
2.  Rocky’s Backyard Ultra Last Man Standing*
3.  Broken Record MTB Challege – 3hr / 6hr
4.  Eagles Echo Night Run – Half / 10k
5.  Battle Born Trail Run – 3.6 miler & 10.31 miler – A.M. Races
6.  Battle Born Trail Run – 3.6 miler – P.M. Race
7.  We’re All Mad Here Running Mayhem Event

• • *For RBYU:  this race layout is there can be only one winner and the other participants are DNF, for the race points, the winner will receive 1st place points and for the remaining of the field, points will apply on when they drop from race.

To be eligible for year end series awards:

• Competed in a minimum of 2 events
  • Kids 1 milers at Eagles Echo Night Race & Kids 1.864k at Battle Born Trail Run do not count for points.  Youth points only count towards main event distances, 10, Half Marathon, 3.6 miler, & 10.31 miler.
• Complete the race entered in.
• Be in good standings.

Year End Series Awards:

• Awards will be given to the Top Male, Top Female, and the Top Youth with total points at the end of the year, after We’re All Mad Here Event in Nov.
• In the event of a tie at the end of the season:
  1.      The winner will be determined by who has the most overall wins.
  2.      Greater number of events completed.
  3.      The person who won Rocky’s Backyard Ultra*
  4.      The person who won the P.M. Battle Born 3.6 mile race*
     • *Both of these races are the only two races that have only one distance offered!
  5.       In the event that none of the above break tie, good ole flipping a coin 😉

The Race Series will have prizes for the Top Female, Top  Male Overall Points Series Finishers, and the Top Youth Finisher (17 & U).

RRA is working on prizes now:

• First Overall Male, Female, & Youth of Race Series will receive an Legacy UltrAspire Vest!!
